The temporalities committee assists the Pastor, Pastoral Staff,
and Pastoral Council with financial matters and church property.
Finances and Activities

Finance Council - advisors
to the Pastor on the administration of goods.

Money Counter - counts
the collection each weekend.

Bingo
- held each Monday evening. Volunteers set up, work the games,
and clean up.

Card Party - volunteers
assist with the card party held on Wednesday afternoons.

Donut
Sale - volunteers assist with the card party held on Wednesday
afternoons.

Fish Fry - held Ash
Wednesday and every Friday during Lent. Volunteers prepare
and serve the dinner.

Parish Festival - workers facilitate
this major parish fundraiser held annuals the first full weekend
in October.
Church Property
-
Gardeners - maintain
the church property by planting, pruning, weeding, and watering.

Construction Trades Team
- offer skills in certain trades, such as plastering, electrical
work, plumbing, carpentry, and bricklaying for special parish projects.

Event Set Up & Take Down
- arrange tables and chairs before and/or after parish events.
Office

Receptionist and Secretarial
Assistance - Facilitate office work and answer phone on Mondays
- Fridays (4 - 8 PM).

Data Entry - convert
records to a computer database.

Bulletin - Assembly of inserts and Pittsburgh Catholic into
the bulletin on Thursday evening or Friday each week.

Bulk Mailing - periodic
assistance to assemble printed materials to communicate with parishioners.
